A Week of Firsts...

Hello! I really wasn't ready for what Mom and Dad had in store for me this week. On Monday, I got my first hair cut. It's been 2 years, and 3 months since I cut it. (ha ha!) I stayed really still and didn't move an inch.....but seriously, wouldn't you do the same if someone came at you with a sharp pair of scissors?!!

Then today, after breakfast, Mom and Dad lined the table with cardboard, placed eggs in a bowl, and some colored liquid in cups. Next thing I know, I am in the process of dying eggs. What is this?! It was so much fun. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make these bland eggs look so cool. Why don't they always come in beautiful shades of blue, green and purple?

Then, we jumped into the car and went to this magical place.  No, not Disneyland. I went there last week.

.....We went to a place just as fun....a place FULL of books. Books and books and more books!! We went to the library! I was in book heaven.

And tomorrow is that special day of the year when a rabbit somehow manages to make me a basket full of candy-filled plastic eggs.  How a rabbit can do all of this is still a mystery to me.  If you know the answer, please please explain it to me.

In order to be on par tomorrow while hunting for those eggs, I thought a little practice round would help me out. So, some friends and I got together at the park to practice our egg-hunting skills. I learned that I need to remember to keep my eye on the prize, not on the basket. I am so ready for tomorrow. Bring it on!
