Happy Easter!

I still don't understand what a bunny delivering eggs has to do with Easter, but I don't care!! I had a great day and I hope you did too!

The Easter Bunny was really nice this year. He brought me a really cool basket of treats.

After the Easter meal, was the event I had been waiting for all day....                           THE EASTER EGG HUNT!!

Mom and I had been practicing all week. She hid the eggs and I found them and put them into my purse. Today, I was outside and I had to put them into a cute basket - No Problem!

....under the flowers, oldest hiding place in the book....

.....Outta my way, Dad, I have more eggs to find!

              So EASY!!

I was so excited, I couldn't contain myself. I found SO MANY eggs!!!!!

  TAH-DAH!
      EGGS, EGGS, and more EGGS!!

What do you think of my new hair style? Is the color too light?

What a wonderful day....Until next year, Easter Bunny!

I LOVE yogurt

Right now I have a special crush. Don't worry, it's not about a boy.  It's something way way better. YOGURT!!

If I eat all my dinner, I get to have yogurt for dessert.

Thus, this blog post is dedicated to my love for this scrumptious dairy treat.

There is a method to my madness:

First, I begin by using good manners
and feeding myself with a spoon (like a lady).

No offense to whomever invented the spoon, but that utensil just doesn't get the yogurt to my mouth fast enough. Sorry. I prefer to use the utensils I was born with - my fingers!

Ok, wait a second. Spoons are useful for one thing...helping me make funny faces.

So, as I get to the end of my yogurt cup, I usually have trouble digging all of it out with my fingers. And I wouldn't want any of it to go to waste. I must lick off every last bit!

Last, I ask Mom if I got any yogurt stuck in my teeth or on my face.

ALL DONE!!
Another cup bites the dust

Playing Catch-Up

My editor has been extremely busy lately and so I would like to take the time to catch you up on some of the things I've been up to these past few weeks:

My Abuela knit me the cutest sweater. Here I am modeling it. I was so excited to wear it that I forgot to put on my pants. Happens to eeryone, right?!!

For St. Patrick's Day, Dad made me some green eggs and ham (I'm a sophisticated lady so I swapped the ham for something more meaty...sausage!)

Last week was my first week of school in my new classroom. This classroom is for big kids only and we do big kid types of activities. For example, we were learning about healthy foods, so my teacher had us dress up like our favorite fruit or vegetable. I asked mom to dress me up as my favorite fruit. Can you guess which one?

.....stay posted for more updates!

Doing Chores

My mom and dad say that now I'm old enough to help out around the house. Here I am doing my first set of chores.

Remy's Birthday

Today was one of my bestest friend's birthday. He just turned 1. He is almost as old as me, but not quite.  I'm roughly 60 days older than him but who's counting.  He threw the coolest party, though.  I'll give him that.  We went to this place that has all sorts of cool toys to play with and there were these really cool rooms that you could bounce around in.  You could jump and fall and not get hurt!! I must admit, it took some getting used to, but once I built up my confidence I couldn't stop jumping!

I also realized my love for automobiles. I was a natural from the start.

Oops! I guess I should introduce the man of the day - REMY!!
Happy Birthday - welcome to the club, big guy.

My cool car broke down. But not to worry, I'm an independent woman. Who needs AAA when you got 2 legs?

When we arrived, Mom and Dad mentioned something about a Frog Bounce House. I didn't know what frogs and giant bouncy rooms had in common....And guess what?!! I got to meet a real-life frog!!! She was so cute, I couldn't resist giving her a kiss on the hand. (...because a kiss on the cheek might've been a little to aggressive for our first encounter)

Beach Day!

Today we took advantage of beautiful California sun by heading out to the beach for a picnic and a bike ride with Diana, Nick, Mom and Dad.

What do you think of my beach outfit?

Diana told me that it was important to get my vitamin D each day, so she held me in the sun for a bit.

Getting ready to cruise...
