An Unbirthday and a Round of Golf

Today was my friend, Amelia's, first birthday....or Unbirthday! Her birthday is actually on Valentine's Day but she had a really cool Alice in Wonderland themed party today.

Here we are.....Tweedledee and Tweedledum:

After stuffing our faces with sweets, we stopped by the Queen of Hearts' Wall for a family picture (I had a hard time focusing...I was checking out a hamburger in the distance.)

So, I must admit that lately I've been slightly addicted to watching a special game on TV. I like to watch it with my Dad because Mom says it's terribly boring. Anyway, it's a pretty simple game. You just have to go outside, find some grass, and push a ball into a hole. Dad likes to tell me all these stories about when he was a boy and how he used to play "golf". Blah Blah Blah....

Well, guess what?!! Ameila's Unbirthday took place where there was plenty of grass and she even had balls and "clubs" for us to use. Apparently, we were at a "golf course", as Dad likes to call them. Dad was so excited to show me how to hold my first club.

....And that's right about when I decided to take the reins. After all those hours watching Golf TV, I knew exactly what to do.
First of all, only 1 person gets to hold this heavy stick.

Second, you much check the green before you hit the ball into the hole.

Finally,  you run away with the ball.

Yes, I am officially changing the rules of the game.

(*DISCLAIMER: I don't really watch hours of GolfTV, I'm just practicing my use of hyperboles)

Mariachi Music...

This weekend Mom and Dad took me to my first Mexican restaurant. They seemed a little apprehensive, looking towards the front of the room the whole time. I promised them I would be on my best behavior, so no need to be nervous.

Needless to say, the food was pretty good, but there was something there that was even better than the food....even better then all the milk in the world..... it was a group of men playing all different types of musical instruments - a Mariachi Band!!

I quickly realized why Mom and Dad were acting so weird. They thought I may not like the loud sounds coming from this awesome orchestra. Boy were they wrong! I liked it so much, I asked to get a front row seat to the best show ever. Okay, let's be honest....I asked for a seat on the stage.

Unfortunately, this seat wasn't close enough for me.
Dad, take me to the dance floor.....

Shake your booty! Go Sara!

Cutting a rug with Dad....

I hear that Mexico is close by....anyone want to go a little vacation?
