Alright, ladies and gentlemen today was my big day. Today marks 1 whole year of life. One year of eating, pooping and sleeping. One year of laughing and crying. One year of ....well, you get the point.
After school, Grandma Karen came over to my house and presented me with this beautiful piece of food that people call "cake". I had never tried this before and was eager to get started. The only parts of this cake that I recognized were those berries on top, but what was underneath....????
Mom put me in the cake-eating position and I dug right in. Even Penny got in position - in case the floor needed cleaning up, of course. Little did she know, the only place this birthday cake was going was directly into my mouth and all over my clothes.
Okay, so I must admit, I got a little ahead of this whole cake-eating thing. Apparently you have to light a candle and then you have to blow it out. ....Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me......
I can't tell you what I wished for, but just as I was about to blow out my candle, I had to reprimand Mom and remind her that her birthday is tomorrow.
