Luck of the Irish

What do you get when you cross poison ivy with a four leaf clover?.........A rash of good luck!
(bet you didn't know that I'm quite the comedian these days)

Seriously though, I do believe that a little leprechaun blessed me with a rash of good luck this weekend.

You be the judge....

First of all, my Mom surprised me with a trip to San Diego to visit my Avi & Abuela. My Avi cracks me up all the time!

Here's a picture of me in my lucky St. Patrick's Day outfit!

And the fun didn't stop there. My Mom took me to Diana's parents' house. Did you know that my Mom has known Diana since she was 5 years old?

Everyone always fights over who gets to feed me (I don't know why, maybe it's my good looks???) and Arthur was the lucky person this time around. We had a lot to talk about: the Republican primaries, March Madness, the new iPad.

Next I got to go play at my Auntie Pat's house. This wonderful lady is the mother of my Mom's best friend, Sara.  Sadly, Sara passed away about 10 years ago and my Mom decided to name me after her. She tells me about Sara all the time and says that I am just as special as she was.    p.s. we even share the same middle name, except mine is in Spanish!

And just when I thought my luck was running low, we went to dinner with some of Mom and Dad's friends, Ian and Laura (and Diana too!).  My Mom ordered corned beef and cabbage. She said she only ate a teeny bit of cabbage....keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't make me gassy!

Hope all of you had a great St. Patrick's Day too!
